JACKSONVILLE, Fla. The two teams combined to slug six home runs in the high-scoring affair. Josè Briceño hit his first career grand slam in the seventh to cut an eight-run Jacksonville lead in half, and then Luis Tejada went deep in the eighth to make the score 10-7. Briceno drove in two more runs with a game-tying single later in the frame and finished with six RBI, one shy of high career-high.
The BayBears (11-14) jumped ahead 2-0 in the second and grabbed the lead back in the eighth, courtesy of Michael Hermosillo 's RBI triple. However, the 11-10 advantage was short-lived.
Brian Anderson led off the bottom of the eighth with a leadoff home run for Jacksonville (11-14), his second of the series. Anderson drove in the winning run in the ninth with a two-out, walk-off double against Ronnie Muck (0-2).
Jacksonville scored eight runs in the fourth inning, highlighted by back-to-back home runs. Alex Glenn slugged a grand slam to right field to put the Jumbo Shrimp in front 4-2, and Taylor Ard followed with a solo blast.
