BayBears fall in completion of Thursday's game, Friday's game

(June 30, 2017) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, dropped a pair of games to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, 6-3 in the completion of Thursday's game and 2-1 in Friday's regularly-scheduled game, at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
GAME 1:
Leading 1-0 in the fifth inning when the first game of the night resumed, following a 3-hour and 3-minute rain delay, the BayBears added another tally in the sixth.
However, Jacksonville scored six straight runs over the next three frames, including four in the bottom of the seventh against Michael Dimock (1-2).
GAME 2:
For the third time in the series, the BayBears (33-44 overall, 3-5 second half) scored the first run of the game.
