BayBears fall to Shuckers in series opener

MOBILE, Ala. (August 31, 2017) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, fell behind early and despite pulling within two runs twice, could not come all the way back in a 5-2 loss to the Biloxi Shuckers Thursday night at Hank Aaron Stadium.

The Shuckers (68-65 overall, 32-32 second half) used the early homers to grab an early 4-1 lead in the third inning.
