MOBILE, Ala. (September 1, 2019) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, scored six runs in the first two innings and defeated the Tennessee Smokies 8-4 Sunday afternoon at Hank Aaron Stadium.
Despite three Smokies (57-81, 24-45) runs in the top of the ninth, the BayBears were able to prevail and earn their 50th win of the season to snap a five-game losing streak.
The BayBears wrap up the Farewell Season against Tennessee Monday at 12:05 p.m., with left-handed pitcher
