MOBILE, Ala. (June 9, 2019) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, split a doubleheader against the Birmingham Barons Sunday afternoon at Hank Aaron Stadium, winning the first game 10-2 and falling in the second game 7-4.
GAME ONE:
The BayBears plated runs in four consecutive innings to surge to an eight-run victory in the series opener. Mobile tallied a season-high 10 runs in the game.
GAME TWO:
Adell hit his third home run of the season and first with Mobile (23-37) to give the BayBears a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the fourth. However, Birmingham (25-37) stormed back with a four-run fifth inning.
