PEARL, Miss. (April 14, 2019) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, were shut out by the Mississippi Braves 1-0 in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader but returned the favor with a 2-0 win in game two to wrap up the series at Trustmark Park.
GAME 1:
The BayBears left nine runners stranded and failed to score a run, despite loading the bases in the fourth and putting two on base in the fifth.
GAME 2:
The BayBears (4-5) scoreless streak extended to 18 innings, but Mobile finally broke through with a pair of runs in the eighth inning to blank Mississippi (3-5) in the series finale.
