Baysox Hold On to Top Yard Goats and Complete Sweep, 3-2
BOWIE, Md.- LHP John Means did not allow an earned run over six strong innings of relief and the Bowie Baysox (45-41) completed the three-game sweep with a 3-2 victory over the Hartford Yard Goats (36-48) on Thursday night at Prince George's Stadium in Bowie.

Means (6-7) gave up two runs (none earned) on four hits while tying his season-high with eight strikeouts over six innings of work.
Trailing 3-2, Hartford had runners at first and second with one out in the eighth, but LHP
Cleavinger (2.0 IP, 2 H, K) got the final six outs to notch his third save of the year.
Bowie has won nine straight at home for the first time since August 14-28, 2012.
