BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announced their promotional schedule Friday, revealing an entertainment-filled 70-game home calendar. <st1:city w:st="on">BOWIE, <st1:state w:st="on">Md. - The Bowie Baysox announced their promotional schedule Friday, revealing an entertainment-filled 70-game home calendar. The 2019 season, presented by Money One Federal Credit Union, is filled with a mix of familiar promotions from past seasons, as well as a few new additions.
Opening Night's first pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 against the Harrisburg Senators. All fans in attendance will receive a 2019 season Magnet Schedule, courtesy of Money One Federal Credit Union. The first Baysox LIVE Happy Hour of the season will take place in the picnic area from 5 - 6:30 p.m. with live music and beer specials.
The Baysox have 15 fireworks shows throughout the season, lighting up the sky beginning on April 27. Come out to Prince George's Stadium to see the largest fireworks show of the season on July 4 against the Harrisburg Senators at 6:35 p.m. presented by Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
The 2019 season will host a pair of celebrity appearances in June. The Netflix phenomenon "Stranger Things" comes to the ballpark on Saturday, June 15, when the Baysox host the Trenton Thunder (NY Yankees) at 6:35 p.m. Fans who come out have the chance to meet actress Cara Buono, who plays "Karen Wheeler" (mom of Mike and Nancy Wheeler) on the show. There will also be a VIP Exclusive Meet and Greet package available.
On Thursday, June 27, Ginuwine will be in the ballpark for R&B night. A native of Washington, D.C., and student at Prince George's Community College, the Grammy Nominated artist will meet & greet fans during the game. There will also be a VIP Exclusive Meet and Greet package available.
The ever-popular Star Wars Night, including fireworks, characters & interactive exhibits (presented by Taco Bell) returns to the Baysox on Saturday, June 1.
On Thursday, June 13, the Baysox will host their first ever Pride Night event in partnership with Annapolis Pride. There will be an exclusive ticket package that will include a limited-edition Pride Night Baysox hat available.
The Baysox will become the first professional sports team in the country to host Drag Night on Thursday, August 15, when Bowie hosts the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Area Drag Queens will be performing throughout the event and some Baysox staff members will also be participating in the first-time event by dressing up in full drag attire.
August 24, the penultimate home game of the season, will bring a new team to the stadium. The Baysox will transform into the Maryland Crab Cakes for the game and take on the Altoona Curve during Celebrate Maryland Night. Game-worn Crab Cakes uniforms will be auctioned during the game, while the first 500 fans 13 and up will receive a pair of Maryland Flag "Bay-socks".
Among the giveaways this season are a Baysox Luau T-Shirt giveaway for the first 500 fans 13+ (July 6), a Trey "Moon Man"-cini bobble head, courtesy of EZ-Pass Maryland, for the first 750 fans 13+ (July 20). We'll honor our latest Hall of Famer during Orioles Day on July 7. The first 750 fans (ages 13+) will receive a Mike Mussina bobblehead, thanks to Money One Federal Credit Union. During our annual Touch-a-Truck Day on August 3, the first 500 kids (ages 3-12) will receive a backpack, thanks to Miss Utility.

- Monday: Mutt Monday - All dogs welcome as long as they're leashed/properly tagged and vaccinated (presented by Veterinary Neurology & Imaging of the Chesapeake)
- Tuesday: Two Buck Tuesday & Dollar Dog Night - Purchase one Box Seat Ticket at regular price & get the second for just $2.00. (Tickets must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance of the game date. Restrictions apply). Enjoy hot dogs for one buck from the concession stands.
- Wednesday: Military Appreciation Night - Any member of the military that shows proof of military service at the Stadium Box Office can get a box seat for half the price (presented by Terminix)
- Thursday: Baysox LIVE Happy Hour - Enjoy live music and beer specials at Baysox Live! Happy Hour starting at 5 pm until game time sponsored by Bud Light.
