Clinton (14-21, 45-57) tallied just five hits in the game off Beeker (10-3) who did not allow the LumberKings to recorded more than one hit in the same inning. The only extra base hit of the game belonged to Clinton.

Beeker's nine inning shutout was his second complete game of the year and the first complete game shutout thrown against the LumberKings this season. During the nine shutout frames, he struck out seven while not allowing a walk.
