(Peoria, IL) - The Burlington Bees (50-68) were held to one run in a 2-1 loss to the Peoria Chiefs (57-61) in 11 innings on Sunday afternoon at Dozer Park.

With one out in the third inning, Bees' starter Erik Manoah Jr. issued a walk to Nick Plummer. After Plummer stole second base, Mick Fennell singled to right field, scoring Plummer, giving the Peoria Chiefs a 1-0 lead. 
Trailing by a run in the sixth, Artemis Kadkhodaian singled to right-center. After moving to second on a wild pitch, Kadkhodaian then moved to third on a passed ball. With one out, Leonardo Rivas reached on a fielder's choice as Kadkhodaian beat the tag at home plate, tying the game at one. 
For the second straight night, the Bees and Chiefs would play extra innings. Bees' reliever Tyler Stevens walked the lead off hitter in the bottom of the 11th. After Brian O'Keefe flew out to left, Evan Mendoza ripped a double off the wall in left, scoring Kramer Robertson, giving the Chiefs the 2-1 win. Peoria reliever Yeison Medina (4-0) earned the win while Tyler Stevens (0-1) was charged with the loss. 
The Bees will return home to begin a four-game series with the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Community Field. It's another Dollar Monday presented by Miller Lite.
