Salt Lake scored two runs in each of the first three innings and led 6-3 after four innings, but Fresno plated two in the fifth and four in the seventh to take a 9-6 lead. The Bees scored a run in the eighth to cut the Grizzlies lead to 9-7, but Salt Lake left the bases loaded and could not complete the comeback.
The Bees finish the season at 72-70, in second place in the Pacific Coast League's Pacific Southern division. Salt Lake finished with a winning record for the first time since 2013, and the Bees welcomed 483,202 fans to Smith's Ballpark this season. Salt Lake's next game will take place on April 5 at Smith's Ballpark against the Albuquerque Isotopes.
