Bowling Green opened the first inning with a pair of errors and a single to load the bases.
Stephen Kerr opened the third inning by reaching on an error and then moved to second on a groundout. Derek Jenkins put the Bees on the board, lining a single to center, scoring Kerr, tying the game at two.
The Hot Rods responded in the bottom of the third inning. With one out,
Bowling Green went on to add two more runs in the fifth inning thanks to a RBI double from
Bowling Green starter
