Bees Take Third Straight, 7-4
(Appleton, WI) The Burlington Bees (39-48) used a three-run eighth inning to win their third game in a row, 7-4 over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (33-53) on Sunday afternoon at Neuroscience Group Field.

After going ahead in the count 2-0 to start the game,
The Bees used another home run to get the lead back. Artemis Kadkhodaian crushed his first professional home run, a solo shot to left, giving the Bees a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning.
With one out in the top of the seventh inning, Derek Jenkins reached on an infield single and stole second base.
Wisconsin opened the bottom of the seventh inning with four straight hits. After a lead off double from Trever Morrsion, Joangtel Segovia drove in Morrison with a single, cutting the Bees' lead to 4-2.
The Bees bounced right back and answered with a three-run inning of their own.
Kayle Halbohn (1-0) bounced back and worked a scoreless eighth inning, earning the win while
NOTES: The Bees scored a first inning run for the sixth straight game. Jordan Zimmerman extended his hitting streak to 15 games and Derek Jenkins extended his streak to six games. Kadkhodaian has batted in four runs in his first two games with the Bees.
