The Loons regained the lead in the third. With a runner at second base and two outs, Cruz once again came through, lining a single into left, scoring Hansen, putting the Loons back on top, 2-1.

Morgan reached on an error to start the top of the sixth inning and moved to second on a wild pitch. With two outs, Josh Merrigan ripped a triple to left-center, scoring Morgan, putting the Bees in front, 3-2.
The Loons started their comeback in the seventh.
With the game still tied in the bottom of the ninth inning. Lux reached for the third time, this time on a walk. After moving to second on a passed ball, Lux came home to score when Carlos Rincon launched a two-run home run to left, giving the Loons a 5-3 win over the Bees.
