Corpus Christi has won four of its last five games.
Corey Julks, who won the game for the Hooks on Thursday with a 10th-inning dinger, homered on the second pitch of the game Friday, lining a lead-off laser over the wall in left field. Julks, now 8-for-19 in the series, has belted four home runs in his last 12 games.

Missions starter Matt Waldron settled in and retired eight of nine before CC erupted in the fifth, sending 11 men to bat. Chandler Taylor scored the first run on a wild pitch. David Hensley, who had his eight-game hitting streak snapped Thursday, added another with an RBI single. And Scott Manea plated a pair with a knock up the middle, completing a four-hit, three-RBI day.
Brandon Komar, pitching in relief of Waldron, was greeted by Adolph who smoked a 1-0 pitch over the fence in right-center for a three-run home run and an 8-0 advantage.

Cesar Rosado earned the save, as the Missions managed an unearned marker over his three innings of work.
Record and Rosado teamed to allow five hits, all singles, while stranding seven over the final four frames.
