MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (July 29, 2018) - Aramis Ademan ripped a go-ahead, two-run single in the seventh inning Sunday to drive the Myrtle Beach Pelicans to a 4-3 win over the Lynchburg Hillcats from TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark.
With the game knotted at 2-2, the Pelicans (49-58, 15-22) collected back-to-back singles from Kevonte Mitchell and D.J. Wilson , who went 3-for-4, off of Hillcats (49-55, 20-17) starter Eli Morgan (6-4). Ademan then smacked the two-run single to put the Birds in front 4-2.

In the ninth, the Hillcats threatened, plating a run on an RBI single from Jodd Carter, but Jose Paulino locked down his third save on the season.

The Hillcats tied the game in the second when Connor Capel scored on a throwing error following a stolen base.
