BILOXI, MS - The Montgomery Biscuits (72-52, 32-23) ripped off nine unanswered runs in the eighth and ninth innings to storm back for a 9-3 win over the Biloxi Shuckers (59-61, 29-25) on Friday night at Keesler Federal Park.

Duncan Davitt pitched five scoreless innings and neither club scored in the game’s first five innings. In the sixth, Biloxi put up three runs to take a 3-0 lead.

In the eighth, Montgomery started to rally against Biloxi’s bullpen. Tanner Murray and Carson Williams each led off with singles. Dominic Keegan then lifted a three-run, opposite-field, home run to right field to tie the game at 3-3. Willy Vasquez shot a triple past first base to the right-field corner for Montgomery’s first lead, 4-3.

The Biscuits poured on five runs in the ninth. Murray shot a two-run single through the middle of the infield, and Vasquez ripped a two-run double to right center. Both players finished with three hits.
