Bisons beat Chiefs, 7-1, in series finale

In the top of the fourth, Opitz singled again with two outs. Then, Christian Lopes blasted a line drive to left for a double, scoring Opitz.
Hill hit Elmore with a pitch to lead off the top of the fifth. Two batters later, Roemon Fields doubled on a line drive to center, moving Elmore to third. Finally, Raffy Lopez singled to left. Elmore and Fields both scored on the play.
Syracuse (10-18) finally got on the board in the bottom of the ninth.
The Chiefs continue their homestand Thursday night against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at 6:35.
