Reno, NV – Blaze Alexander drove in six on a grand slam and a two-run double in a 14-3 Reno Aces (42-31) win over the Albuquerque Isotopes (27-46) Friday night at Greater Nevada Field.
Alexander’s cosmic swing highlighted a seven run first inning for the Aces. Reno didn’t make an out until the eighth batter of the frame, a run consisting of four singles, a walk, an error, and the Alexander grand slam. In front of the largest crowd of the season, Reno’s offense delivered right out of the gate.
