PENSACOLA, Fla., - Pensacola's pitching staff has lead the Southern League all season and tonight's game was no different for the Blue Wahoos. The bullpen held the Mobile BayBears to only one hit in 4.1 innings of work as the Pensacola Blue Wahoos won 3-2 at Blue Wahoos Stadium.

Ping President John K. Solheim attended Friday's game as a guest of team co-owner Bubba Watson. Prior to the game, John K was given a personalized Blue Wahoos jersey before for his ceremonial first pitch. Later in the game, John K suited up as the infamous roach for the Lewis Critter Gitter Roach Race. The Arizona State grad pulled away from the crowd early and escaped the field unharmed by the 100s of children that tore across the field.
