Bolton (1-0) finished his South Atlantic League debut after a career-high five innings of work over 75 pitches. The right-hander tallied a career-best eight strikeouts and allowed just two hits. The 2017 sixth-round pick wrung up every member of the Intimidator line-up once. with Tate Blackman being the lone exception.
Bolton joined
West Virginia (25-19) struck first in the opening frame, scoring two runs in the first off Kannapolis starter Parker Rigler (2-2).
Mitchell stroked an RBI single in his next at-bat in the third to push the lead to 3-0 after
