Turning Point
The RubberDucks rallied from a 2-1 deficit with five runs in the third inning off starter Sean Reid-Foley (3-4). After the Ducks loaded the bases with no outs, Tyler Krieger tied the game, 2-2, with a sacrifice fly. Following a single by Francisco Mejía to re-load the bases, Bradley smashed a grand slam to right field to give Akron a 6-2 lead.

Winging It
Whitehouse (2-2) pitched a season-high, six innings and scattered seven hits and three runs to earn his first win as a starter and his second victory, overall. He walked one and fanned four. D.J. Brown supplied 1.1 innings of relief, but ran into a jam and left with two men on base in the eighth. Neil Holland came on and ended up leaving the bases loaded in the eighth, and then worked around a two-out RBI double by Richard Ureña in the ninth to nail down his fifth save.

Duck Tales
Bradley lined a solo shot to right off Danny Isaacs in the seventh to extend the lead to 7-4. It was his second homer of the game, and his 10th of the year. He finished with five RBI to tie Yu Chang for the team lead of 34. Eric Haase also homered, a solo shot in the second off Reid Foley. It was his 9th homer of the season. Joe Sever had a pair of hits and extended his hit streak to 11 games.
