Brewers promote OF Troy Stokes Jr. to Biloxi, OF Tyrone Taylor placed on 7-day DL
PENSACOLA, FL - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Thursday. OF Troy Stokes Jr. has been transferred to Double-A Biloxi from Advanced-A Carolina and OF Tyrone Taylor has been placed on 7-day disabled list retroactive to July 22

Stokes, 21, batted .250 with 14 home runs, 56 RBI and 21 stolen bases for the Mudcats this season while playing left field. The fourth-round draft pick in 2014 is a graduate of Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore. He was committed to the University of Maryland before signing with the Brewers.
Taylor, 23, missed the first half of the season with a hamstring injury but joined the Shuckers on July 9, batting .316 with three RBI over the course of 11 games. He last appeared in game action on July 20 at Mississippi.
The current Shuckers roster remains at 25 after today's move. In addition, on Tuesday the Brewers announced that RHP Javi Salas, who was on the Shuckers disabled list, has been released. Salas went 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA in seven relief appearances for the Shuckers this season.
