Brujan, a 2021 Triple-A East Post-Season All-Star, led all players at the Triple-A level with 44 steals, posting a .262 average (102-389) with 56 runs, 17 doubles, seven triples, 12 homers and 56 RBI in 103 contests with the Bulls.
This is the latest in a string of roster moves made by Tampa Bay as they whittle their roster down to their Opening Day roster of 28. On March 29, pitchers Seth Blair, Dusten Knight and Cody Reed were reassigned to minor league camp, while the day before a total of 11 players were sent down.
The Rays have optioned INF Jonathan Aranda, RH Calvin Faucher, LH Brendan McKay, C René Pinto, C/INF Ford Proctor and RH Tommy Romero to minor league camp and reassigned RH Adrian De Horta, LH Zack Erwin, RH David Hess, RH David McKay and RH Aaron Slegers to minor league camp.

Of those 11 players, Faucher, McKay, Pinto, Romero, De Horta, Hess and Slegers all played with Durham at some point last season. Aranda and Proctor would make their Triple-A debuts if/when they were to play for the Bulls at some point this year, while Erwin and McKay have previous experience at the Triple-A level.
Due to Major League Opening Day being pushed back to April 7 and Spring Training camp continuing on until that point, the Bulls' initial roster for the 2022 season may not be announced until just prior to Durham's first game on the road at Nashville on Tuesday, April 5.
The Bulls begin their Triple-A National Title defense on the road in Nashville on Tuesday, April 5 before returning to Durham Bulls Athletic Park for a five-game series versus the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on Tuesday, April 12. more information on full-season and mini plan packages, please call 919.956.BULL.
