The night will feature appearances by Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Each wrestler will participate in a pre-game autograph session when gates open at 5:15 until 6:00 p.m. on the center field deck before heading to the field to throw out ceremonial first pitches at 6:25 p.m. An additional autograph session will take place on the center field deck at approximately 6:40 p.m. The second autograph session will take place for as long as lighting conditions allow dependent on the time of sunset.
There will be a $5 charge per autograph, cash only, with a limit of two autographs per wrestler and four autographs total. Fans will need to provide their own items to be autographed and no posed photographs will be allowed in order to accommodate as many people through the line as possible.
Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine teamed up during the summer of 1985 as The Dream Team. They challenged other wrestling duos throughout the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) for the Tag Team Championship. The duo went on to win the WWF Tag Team Championship and defended their title for eight months. Following the Dream Team's breakup, Beefcake became known by fans as "The Barber" becoming one of the most popular stars of the WWE before eventually teaming up with Hulk Hogan to compete in the Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania IX.
Greg Valentine won the WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship in 1984. Following his Tag Team Championship with Beefcake, he competed at multiple events including WrestleMania IV, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble before joining the World Championship Wrestling where he went on to win the Tag Team Championship with Terry Taylor. In March of 2004, Valentine was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Pro Wrestling Night will also feature a post-game fireworks show set to alternative rock music. The Family Four Pack Fireworks Friday package is also available for purchase which includes four reserved seat tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and one giant bag of popcorn for $39. Family Four-Pack Fireworks Friday packages are not available for purchase on the day of the game.
