The Durham Bulls announced today the 2020 baseball season will not be played. This announcement was made in accordance with the decision of Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball.
“The DBAP is a place where hundreds of thousands of new memories are made each season and to realize that will not happen in 2020 is difficult,” said Bulls VP Mike Birling. “We here at the Bulls are heartbroken to not be able to host you for Bulls games this year and are already counting down the days until next year’s opening day.”
While the Bulls will not be playing games at the DBAP this summer, the organization is working hard to bring other events to the stadium. As more information about health and safety requirements for venues like the DBAP comes to light the Bulls will share updates on what kind of programs will be taking place this year. The hope is to provide Bulls fans with experiences and memories that they have never had at the stadium before.
