Burgos, 30, returns to Triple-A Colorado Springs where he began the season. Burgos ended his month-long stay with the Shuckers on a high note, pitching the first two innings of a no-hitter in Monday night's game against Tennessee. Overall, the righty went 2-0 with a 2.29 ERA in five appearances, including three starts for the Shuckers.
Taylor, 23, batted .316 in 11 games for the Shuckers before going on the disabled list on July 27 due to a hamstring injury. It was the same hamstring that kept Taylor off the field for the first half of the season. The outfielder from Torrance, CA native began his year with a late June rehab stint with the AZL Brewers before first joining the Shuckers on July 5. Taylor has a .246 batting average with 12 home runs and 80 RBI over 278 career games with the Shuckers since 2015.
Tuesday's move keeps the current Shuckers roster at the league-max of 25.
