Burrows makes long-awaited return

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Beau Burrows (0-2, 4.40 ERA) has returned to the Toledo Mud Hens after close to a two-month long absence on the injured list. 

Coming over from Double-A Erie on Thursday, Burrows made his first Triple-A start since April 27, working his way back from shoulder inflamation.
Burrows, 22, made a pair of rehab starts with High-A Lakeland and the SeaWolves on June 17 and 22, respectively. 
The 2015 Detroit Tigers first-round draft pick went five innings, allowing three hits and zero earned runs, as Toledo won 4-3 over the Louisville Bats at Louisville Slugger Field. 
The Mud Hens finishe 2-2 to conclude the four-game road trip after winning their eighth against the Bats this season. 
Louisville starter Eric Stout pitched five innings in the non-decision, giving up five hits and three earned runs, striking out two and walking none. 
Toledo went ahead in the first inning off Dustin Peterson's ninth home run of the year for the 1-0 lead. 
Peterson ties Victor Reyes and Daz Cameron for second on the team in homers after hitting his first since June 19. 
The 28th-ranked Tigers prospect is also third among Mud Hens batters in RBIs (32) behind Reyes (53) and Willi Castro (33). 
The second solo home run of the game for Toledo came in the fourth as Dawel Lugo recorded his third in Triple-A this season. 
Lugo smashed two RBIs in his return Wednesday and currently holds the team-high in batting average (.353). 
Toledo led 3-0 entering the bottom half of the fifth inning when Cameron extended his hitting streak to six games with a solo home run to left. 
Cameron is batting 10-for-22 with two doubles, two home runs and three RBIs during this run. 
With Zac Reininger on the mound in the sixth, Louisville tied it up on a Cassidy Brown solo blast to center and Aristides Aquino's 17th home run of the season. 
Reininger has surrendered three earned runs in three of his last five relief appearances with Toledo. 
The game-winning RBI double was provided by Daniel Pinero in the ninth inning. On a two-two count, Pinero's line drive dropped into fair territory down the right line which scored Lugo. 
Pinero, the 2016 Tigers ninth-round draft pick, picks up his 13th RBI through 26 games with the Mud Hens this season. 
What's Next:
Tyler Alexander (2-8, 5.86 ERA) is probable to start Friday in the first of a three-game series against the Durham Bulls at Fifth Third Field.
Opening pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. (EST).

Hens Notes:
• It was announced Thursday that Willi Castro and Victor Reyes have made the 2019 International League All-Star Team. They will compete in the 2019 RMHC Triple-A All-Star Game, set for Wednesday, July 10, in El Paso, Texas.
• Prior to the start of last Wednesday's game, Dawel Lugo rejoined the Mud Hens as Jeimer Candelario returned to Detroit. In a corresponding move to the Burrows assignment, Ethan DeCaster was transferred to Double-A Erie.
