FRISCO, Texas (July 6, 2018) - Frisco RoughRiders left-handed pitcher C.D. Pelham has been selected to the 2018 Sirius XM All-Star Futures Game, played Sunday, July 15 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
Rated as the 19th-best prospect in the Rangers organization by MLB Pipeline, Pelham is off to a fantastic start with the Riders, the Double-A affiliate of the Rangers, allowing just two earned runs in his first five outings. The native of Lancaster, South Carolina joined the club June 22 from Advanced-A Down East, where he posted a 1.95 ERA and was a Carolina League Midseason All-Star.
The 23-year-old will be appearing in his first Futures Game, teaming up with some of the brightest young stars in Minor League Baseball, including fellow Rangers prospect
