HAGERSTOWN, Md. (Aug. 19, 2017) - Alex Call and Craig Dedelow each homered in the Intimidators 6-3 win over the Suns on Saturday night at Municipal Stadium. Kannapolis (23-32 Second Half, 62-61) built a 6-1 lead before an hour and 44 minute rain delay paused the game in the sixth inning.  
Call drove in three runs for Kannapolis, going 3-for-5 with a double, a two-run home run (3), and three RBI on the night. Dedelow and Grant Massey each finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. 
Blake Hickman (4-6) earned the win, working 5.0 innings and allowing a run on three hits before rain halted his outing. Ben Wright worked scoreless sixth and seventh inning before Tyler Johnson, Kevin Escorcia, and Danny Dopico each threw two-thirds of an inning to close the game. Dopico earned the save (4) for Kannapolis after the Suns plated two runs in the eight off Johnson.
Hagerstown starter Ben Braymer (1-2) took the loss, allowing three runs on six hits in 5.0 innings, striking out eight and walking one. 
Kannapolis continues this 4-game series on Sunday at 2:05 p.m. as RHP Dylan Cease takes the ball for the Intimidators against Suns' RHP Brigham Hill.
