SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Zach Kirtley capped a Cardinals comeback with a one-out drive into center field in the bottom of the 10th that scored Justin Toerner and sent Springfield (32-46) home walkoff winners 7-6 over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (35-40).

A sellout crowd of 6,757 witnessed the walkoff at Hammons Field on Friday night, Kirtley's second in two weeks.

DECISIONS:
W: RHP Roel Ramirez (3-1)
L: RHP Tyler Zuber (0-1)

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED:
- Ramirez held the Naturals scoreless in the ninth and the tenth, setting up Kirtley and the Cardinals with the chance for the eventual walkoff. Perhaps the biggest moment of the game before Kirtley's walkoff came when Ramirez picked off Naturals DH Khalil Lee at first in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, handing the Cardinals clear momentum.

- C José Godoy advanced Toerner to third base on a sacrifice bunt to start the bottom of the 10th, putting Kirtley in position for the walkoff with just one out.

- Trailing 6-4 in the eighth, it was Kirtley making things happen again when his sacrifice bunt attempt ended up in left field on a throwing error by Naturals C Freddy Fermin, allowing Cardinals DH Chris Chinea to score. Later in the inning, CF Dylan Carlson's bases-loaded sacrifice fly to center field brought home Godoy and tied the game 6-6.

- The Cardinals erased a 3-2 deficit in the third on RF Johan Mieses's ninth homer of the season. Trailing again 4-3 in the fifth, Mieses delivered once more, this time with a sacrifice fly to the game 4-4.

NOTABLES:
- Carlson had one of his most impressive games at the plate in an already impressive season, finishing the night 3-for-4 with a leadoff home run (11), two RBIs and two runs after being named to the MLB Futures Game roster earlier in the day.

- Ramirez's pickoff of Lee marked the second time a Cardinals pitcher has picked off the speed threat and top prospect this series.

- Cardinals RHP Will Latcham tossed 1.2 key scoreless frames after reliever starting LHP Evan Kruczysnki in the sixth. Latcham allowed just one hit and struck out one.

- Kruczynski threw 5.1 innings in his first Double-A start since May 13, allowing five runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out five.
