Carolina (16-22, 55-52) led first in Sunday's series and road trip finale in Fayetteville as they scored a run in the second to take an early 1-0 lead. That lead held through the fourth, but the Woodpeckers (20-18, 51-56) went on to rally for five runs in the fifth while take a 5-1 lead. Clark drove in Carolina's first run of the game after driving in Mario Feliciano with a line drive single to left in the second. Feliciano started the second with a single to center before moving to second on a single two batters later from Wes Rogers.
Feliciano also singled in the eighth while helping set up Carolina's second run of the game in the eighth.
