The Sacramento River Cats leveled their contest with Salt Lake following the top of the fourth, but even three runs in the third were not enough to keep Sacramento from dropping a third straight contest as the Salt Lake Bees secured a 7-5 win on Friday.

Carson Ragsdale allowed a season-high six earned runs and has a 7.62 ERA (11 ER in 13.0 IP) across three Triple-A outings.

David Villar extended his hitting streak to a season-high 15 games (24-for-61, .393) with a home run in the eighth inning, which matches Casey Schmitt for the longest Sacramento hitting streak this season. Six of his past eight hits have been for extra bases (three doubles, three homers).

Jerar Encarnacion has hits in nine of his past 11 games (15-for-37, .405) thanks to a three-hit game, his second three-hit game with Sacramento.

The River Cats will look to rebound in game four of this series tomorrow, with first pitch at 5:35 p.m. (PT).
