Cerda Named Appalachian League Player of the Week
GREENEVILLE, TN - OF Allan Cerda was named the Appalachian League Player of the Week of June 24-30. The 19-year- old from Bronx, NY becomes the first Greeneville Reds player to earn the weekly honor since INF Rylan Thomas won July 23-29, 2018.Cerda played in five games during the Reds

Cerda played in five games during the Reds recent home stand, finishing 7-for-19 (.368) with four home runs, 11-RBI's, and six runs. His biggest performance came on Thursday against the Johnson City Cardinals, when he finished 4-for-5 with two home runs, seven-RBI's, two runs scored, and a stolen base in Greeneville's 10-0 win.
Cerda signed with the Cincinnati Reds as Non-Drafted Free Agent on July 3, 2017. He currently ranks among the Appala- chian League Leaders in HR (4, T-2), RBI (14, T-1), SLG (.675, 4), and OPS (1.016, 4).
Cerda began the new week by driving in the Greeneville's lone run in their 2-1 loss Monday night.
