Geneva, IL - The Peoria Chiefs lost a completely meaningless game between playoff teams Friday night with a 3-0 setback to the Kane County Cougars to end a six-game win streak. The Chiefs are now 37-31 in the second half with two games left in the regular season.

After the Chiefs loaded the bases with one out but didn't score, the Cougars scored an unearned run in the third inning against reliever
Warner (2-4) took the loss as he was limited by rain to a career-low two innings. He gave up one run on three hits and struck out one while hitting a batter. Dobzanski allowed two runs, one earned, on five hits over 2 2/3 innings while walking one.
Notes… The Chiefs tied a franchise record set in 2008 by allowing their 115th home run of the season…Peoria has won six straight twice this season but have not won seven in a row…The Chiefs lead the season series 8-7 with two games left…Kane County will play Cedar Rapids in the first round of the playoffs while the Chiefs play Quad Cities…The teams could meet in the post-season for the third time ever if both make it to the second round…The teams play Sunday at 6:30 p.m. as the Chiefs send RH
