Peoria, IL - For the second day in a row walks did in the Peoria Chiefs in a 4-3 loss to the Burlington Bees. The Friday night loss moves the Chiefs to 5-10 on the season with the series finale set for Saturday.

Both teams scored early unearned runs. The Chiefs got theirs in the fifth inning to tie the game 1-1.
Diego Cordeo worked into the seventh and the game was still tied 1-1 going into the eighth.

The Chiefs had a chance in the ninth against the Bees bullpen. Jackson led off with his second homer of the season to cut the Burlington lead to 4-3. Perez singled up the middle but he was left at second as the Chiefs lost by one.
Cordero took a no-decision as he allowed just one unearned run on six innings for his second straight quality start. The lefty walked one and struck out five. Tabata (1-1) allowed three runs in one hitless inning as he walked five and took the loss. St. Clair retired both batters he faced.
The Chiefs and Bees play the final game of the series Saturday at 5:00 p.m. The Chiefs are scheduled to start RH
