In the fifth inning with two outs, the benches cleared.
In the bottom of the fifth Peoria tied the game against Jankins. McCarvel walked with one out, and Carlson struck out but reached on a wild pitch with two away to extend the inning.
In the ninth Wisconsin scored two runs against Chiefs reliever
Hicks (7-1) earned a win over six innings while allowing two runs on six hits with a walk while striking out eight. Williams closed out the game and earned his first save of the season, allowing two runs on three hits with five strikeouts.
