Clinton, IA - The Peoria Chiefs tied the game in the top of the ninth but got walked off by the Clinton LumberKings 5-4 in 10 innings Wednesday night. The loss drops the Chiefs to 2-4 in the second half and 32-43 overall on the season.

The Chiefs got on the board first against
Clinton came right back in the bottom of the frame against
Peoria see-sawed back on top in the third inning.
Again the lead was short lived as an error by Donovan tied the game on what should have been an inning-ending double play. Schmid walked the next three batters to force in a run as Clinton went back on top 4-3.
The Chiefs were still down 4-3 when Clinton changed pitchers after the eighth inning.
Clinton needed just two pitchers to win the game in the bottom of the tenth against
Schmid took a no-decision as he allowed four runs, two earned, on four hits and five walks as he struck out two and hit one over 2 2/3 innings.
The series continues Thursday at 6:30 p.m. as the Chiefs start RH Mike Brettell (2-4, 4.22) against Clinton RH
