The Aces would add one run in the top of the 6th inning, but the Las Vegas offense had just enough at-bats left in the game to mount a comeback. Four singles and a double from Vegas would plate four in the home half of the 8th inning, giving them a 9-7 advantage. Reno was not able to mount a late-inning comeback in the 9th and left Las Vegas with a 3-1 series win.
The loss moves Reno to a record to 68-50 on the season, one game ahead of the Fresno Grizzlies for first place in the Pacific Coast League Northern Division.
