Colina Tallies 10 Strikeouts in 3-2 Triumph

A win and a sixth consecutive quality start highlighted Sunday's stellar showing by Colina (7-4). He allowed only one run over 6,1 innings pitched. Colina also passed
Ashby (1-1) posted a personal-high 10 strikeouts within his quality start but he also suffered his first loss for Timber Rattlers. He yielded just one run in six innings pitched and retired nine consecutive batters in one stretch.
The Kernels and the Timber Rattlers each scored in the seventh.
Both teams scored during the ninth inning as well.
This three-game road series comes to a close Monday with first pitch at 12:05 p.m., and Kernels left-hander
