Corey Ray named to All-Star Futures Game
ZEBULON, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats, the Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, are proud to announce that outfielder Corey Ray has been named to the 2017 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game scheduled to be played on Sunday, July 9 at Marlins Park in Miami.

Ray is currently batting .255/.332/.396 with a .728 OPS over 57 games with the Mudcats this season. He has also totaled 31 RBIs and 60 hits including 17 doubles, two triples and four home runs so far this year with Carolina.
The 22-year-old outfielder currently leads the Mudcats and is fourth in the Carolina League this season with 18 stolen bases. He is also seventh in the league in doubles (17) so far in 2017.
Milwaukee selected Ray with the 5th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 MLB June Draft out of Louisville. He began the 2017 season ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the Brewers system and No. 30 overall in Minor League Baseball according to MLB.com.

Ray, McKenzie and Collins will all represent the U.S. Team; while Robles, Jimenez, Hernandez and Alvarez will play for the World Team.
