SS Ben Cowles (1-for-4, HR, 2 RBI, R) provided Somerset’s only runs of the day with a two-run homer in the 1st. The blast marked Cowles’s fifth homer of the year and first at home. Cowles has hit safely in three straight. The Yankees No. 29 prospect snapped a season-long homerless drought of 22 games dating back to 5/24 @NH. Friday marked Cowles’s tenth multi-RBI performance of the season.
