VANCOUVER, BC – Minor League Baseball and Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. have named Canadians outfielder and fan favorite Dasan Brown as a 2024 Rawlings Gold Glove award winner. He is the first C's defender to earn a Gold Glove Award in franchise history.

Brown, 23, recorded 226 putouts and six outfield assists in 100 games between the C’s and Double-A New Hampshire, posting a .996 fielding percentage while dazzling crowds across the Northwest League with eye-popping speed into the gaps and highlight reel-worthy catches like this one. He did not make an error in his 70 games patrolling the outfield while in a Canadians uniform.

His prowess on defence has not been limited to the 2024 season. Across three years in Vancouver, Brown owns a .989 fielding percentage. He made just five errors in 454 chances, including a spotless record this last campaign.

The Oakville, ON native was selected by Toronto in the third round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of Abbey Park High School.
