Dedgar and Ockimey deliver! 'Dogs win 2-1
Bowie, Md. - Dedgar Jimenez (W, 2-5) fired seven strong innings, and Josh Ockimey knocked in both runs, leading the Portland Sea Dogs (24-41) to a 2-1 win over the Bowie Baysox (29-35) on Friday night in the series opener at Prince George's Stadium.

Jimenez tied a season-high with seven strong innings, yielding just one run on five hits to earn his first win since May 10th, but his first win on the road.

Ockimey has five straight two-hit games, hitting his ninth homer of the season. Portland had just four hits and won their first game on the road when scoring three or fewer runs.
