Dees Shines As Patriots Fall To Rumble Ponies In Opener

The Somerset Patriots let an early 3-0 lead slip away as they fell to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 6-3 in game one of a six game series on Tuesday night at Mirabito Stadium in Binghamton, NY.

RHP Bailey Dees (5 IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 3 BB, 9 K) did not receive a decision, striking out nine in 5 IP. Dees matched a career-high with 9 K for the second consecutive start. Over his last 11 starts excluding his first start of the 2024 season and dating back to 4/13 @ NH, Dees has posted a 2.58 ERA with 65 K in 59.1 IP and a 1.11 WHIP.
