The Dodgers opened the scoring in the second inning. After an error and a single put runners at the corners, Peter flicked a RBI single to left-center field to put OKC ahead, 1-0.
Smith added to the lead in the third inning when he blasted his seventh home run of the season. Smith's shot went past the light stanchion in left-center field and made it a 2-0 game.
