Portland scored all four runs in the third inning off losing pitcher Cory Taylor (4-9). Jeremy Barfield nailed a run-scoring double, giving Portland a 1-0 lead. Henry Urrutia drew a bases-loaded walk. Josh Tobias supplied a sacrifice fly and Danny Bethea (2-for-2, RBI, 2 BB) knocked in the fourth run with a single.
