Manchester, N.H. - The Portland Sea Dogs (20-20) dropped a doubleheader to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (16-28) on Tuesday night. The Fisher Cats took the opener 5-2 and won the nightcap with a 3-2, 8-inning walk-off win.

Game 1 recap

In the opener, Jon Harris (2-4) fired six strong innings on one run, leading the Fisher Cats to a 5-2 win.
 
Portland's Travis Lakins (0-2) took the loss, giving up five runs on seven hits over 4.1 innings pitched.
 
Emilio Guerrero put New Hampshire in front 2-0, blasting a two-run homer with one out in the second. Nick Longhi responded for Portland, leading off the fourth with a solo-shot, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Longhi has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, hitting his third homer of the season.
 
New Hampshire knocked Lakins out of the game in the fifth inning, scoring three times to take a 5-1 lead. Tim Lopes and Danny Jansen provided RBI singles and Ryan McBroom knocked in a run with a fielder's choice.
 
The Sea Dogs added a run in the ninth on a wild pitch, but Dusty Isaacs retired Longhi to end the game.
Game 2 recap
 
Richard Ureña delivered a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth, giving New Hampshire a 3-2 walk-off win. Luis Ysla (L, 0-3) allowed two hits and a walk in the eighth to take the loss.
 
Portland struck in the third inning off Yender Villegas to take a 1-0 lead. Cole Sturgeon walked and scored on a double by Mike Olt (1-for-2, 2 BB).
 
Taylor Grover was outstanding for Portland, recording a perfect inning in 3 of 4 frames. In the third with two outs, Jonathan Davis hit a two-run homer to give the Fisher Cats a 2-1 lead. Grover had a season-high five strikeouts on just two hits and no walks.
 
The Sea Dogs tied the game in the seventh inning off Andrew Case (W, 1-0). Heiker Meneses walked and scored on a fielder's choice by Tzu-Wei Lin. 
The series continues tomorrow morning, first pitch at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium is scheduled for 10:35 AM. LHP Jalen Beeks (5-1, 1.60) makes his eighth start of the season for Portland. RHP Conner Greene (1-3, 3.69) goes for New Hampshire. Pregame coverage on the WPEI US Cellular Sea Dogs Radio Network begins at 10:20 AM.
