'Dogs sweep Binghamton, 7-2 in both games

The Sea Dogs scored three runs with two outs in the first inning and took game one 7-2.
Portland pounded 13 hits over six innings, including two triples and three RBIs by
Matt Kent (W, 1-1) was terrific in a spot start. The lefty worked five scoreless innings and allowed only two hits while striking out seven.
Joseph Shaw (L, 0-3) allowed seven runs on 12 hits over 4.2 innings in the start for Binghamton.

Jimenez (W, 1-2) struck out a career-high nine in the victory and walked just one while hitting a batter.
Portland jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning of game two and never looked back,, adding runs in the second and third to extend the lead to 7-0.
Luke Tendler had two hits - including a solo homer - and three RBIs for Portland. He also scored twice.
