The Tulsa Drillers today announced their Theme Night lineup for the upcoming 2020 season. Below is a list and description for Theme Nights this season. Each day this week, a new section of the calendar will be revealed, with the entire calendar being released on Friday. The Drillers have brought back an exciting mix of fan favorite theme nights, as well as some new themes for their 10th Anniversary Celebration Season!
April 9 - Opening Night:
The 10th Anniversary season begins! We kick off the night with our annual opening night parade around the outside of the stadium. The night is commemorated with the first 5,000 fans receiving a 10th Anniversary Decade of Fun Rally Towels. On the way out of the stadium, everyone will receive a 2020 season schedule magnet. Presented by CPR Roofing & Mazzio's.
April 12 - Easter Sunday:
Celebrate Easter with us and New York Times bestselling children's book series character Pete the Cat, who will be available for a meet and greet during the game! In addition, all kids eat free and are encouraged to come to the ballpark early, as we will be hosting a pre-game Easter Egg Hunt with 2,000 eggs filled with candy and other goodies! Presented by the Green Country Chevy Dealers.
May 8 - Star Wars Night:
The force is with us at ONEOK Field! We celebrate all things Star Wars and finish off the night with an intergalactic firework show!
May 10 - Mother's Day:
Make it a memorable afternoon with mom and the whole family! We will let mom and kids play catch on the field pre-game and let them run the bases after the game. Plus, we will have a special giveaway just for moms! Presented by the Green Country Chevy Dealers.
May 22 - Pride Night:
We've partnered with Oklahomans for Equality to put together our first ever Pride Night at ONEOK Field. We cap off the night with a postgame firework show!
May 23 -- Muscogee Creek Nation Night:
Our partners from Muscogee Creek Nation have designed another awesome custom jersey tying in the tribe's heritage that the players will wear on the field this night. This is our 2nd of 3 straight fireworks nights for Memorial Day Weekend! Presented by the Muscogee Creek Nation.
June 19 - 21: 918 Weekend
918 Nights are back for a 3rd consecutive year! We celebrate all things Tulsa this weekend and will have a new uniform that has the Tulsa Flag colors. Friday and Saturday night, we light up the Tulsa Skyline with postgame fireworks! Presented by PSO & Green Country Chevy Dealers.
June 21: Father's Day
Dad wants to spend the afternoon at the ballpark with his family to celebrate the day! Bring him out for a pregame catch with the kids, a giveaway for him to take home, and all kids eat free! Presented by the Green Country Chevy Dealers.
June 27: Negro League Tribute
2020 commemorates the 100-year Anniversary of Negro League Baseball. We celebrate that with Drillers players wearing the historic T Town Clowns Negro League tribute jerseys, honoring the history of Negro League Baseball in our community!
June 28: Halfway to Christmas
It's getting close to that special time of year! Celebrate the almost holiday with a Santa appearance at the ballpark and a special Christmas themed giveaway! Presented by the Green Country Chevy Dealers.
July 2: Military Appreciation Night
Salute to all those active and retired military members out there! We want to thank you with 2 free tickets to this firework show. Thank you for you service! Presented by AARP.
July 16 - 19: Mystery Theme Weekend
Get this one on the calendar now, we can't dive into it yet, but let's just say it's not one you want to let slip away! Presented by Zebco.
July 30 & 31: Friends Nights
It's the 25th Anniversary of the original airing of the hit TV show Friends, and we have a special guest joining us for both nights! THE Ugly Naked Guy from across the street is stopping by to say hello to all his fans!
August 13: First Responder Night
We want to thank all the first responders in our area for keeping us safe! Show up to the ballpark tonight with your first responder ID and receive 2 free tickets for the game. Thank you for all you do in the community! Presented by Belfor Property Restoration.
August 14: Country Music Night
I've got friends in low places, and I've got friends at the ballpark too! Come out to ONEOK Field tonight and enjoy good country tunes throughout the night and a great firework show set to country music!
August 15: OKC Thunder Night
Thunder Up in DrillVille! Your favorite NBA team will be representing tonight with the Storm Chasers, Thunder Girls, and mascot Rumble! We will also have a custom giveaway that's great for both Drillers & Thunder fans!
September 4: Hearing Loss Awareness Night
It's our first ever Hearing Loss Awareness night at ONEOK Field! Your Drillers will be wearing custom jerseys that spell out "Drillers" in sign language! Presented by Audiology of Tulsa.
September 7: Fan Appreciation Day
It's the last regular season game of 2020 and we want to end it in style, so be sure to join us as we have a Bark in the Park, Mega Money game and more, all mixed into one game! Presented by City Vet Hospital & City of Tulsa: Save our Streams.
